We are now accepting applications for our upcoming 8-week work-readiness programs for next year.
Fast Track to Work 31 Commencing: 23 February 2023
Fast Track to Work 32 Commencing: 11 May 2023
Fast-Track to Work is an 8-week supported work-readiness program for young people seeking employment in Hospitality or Horticulture. Fast-Track includes real on-the-job work experience across multiple teams, fun interactive Work Readiness workshops, social engagements, individual case support and specialist referral. There are guaranteed employment opportunities for suitable graduates through our Paid to Work program!
Trainees obtain a White Card and RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate upon completion of the program. An excursion to Ready Set and Homie, where trainees get kitted out with work and interview wears. You’ll also get to meet our much-loved therapy dog, Magic, who comes into the classroom and on trips.
Trainees go on incursions and excursions to partner employers: RACV, Nandos, Leonda by the Yarra, Fonda, Plant Society and Green Options.
In the past decade 79% of young people have remained in employment or training after six months within the Paid to Work program!

Taste of STREAT (Community Orgs)
A 2-hour information, networking and pizza session run by STREAT Youth Programs for Team Leaders and Managers of relevant referral services who are keen to learn more about STREAT’s programs.

Taste of STREAT (Youth)
A 2-hour interactive workshop for young people (and accompanying workers) who are interested in one of STREAT’s programs where young people can make pizza, meet the youth programs team and literally get a “Taste of STREAT”.
