Our STREAT cafes are what power our social enterprise to help young people. Where each morning our baristas open our doors and start making the best coffee for thousands of people in Melbourne with our small–batch roasted, specialty coffees. Then our team continue to bring you hand–made deliciousness through–out the day in our Collingwood, Parkville, and Melbourne CBD cafes. Whether it be an almond croissant, a freshly-made sandwich or the best Melbourne brunch at our flagship cafe Cromwell Street. We believe all young people should get the opportunity to thrive, no matter their starting point. And having a supportive workplace to get skills, training and support is critical to that. All of our social enterprise cafes, kitchens and gardens are training sites for young people who really need a hand. And behind the scenes we’ve got an amazing youth team (clinical & forensic psychologist, social workers, youth workers, employment specialists and a therapy dog) who ensure that all of our young people get the individual support they need. Whenever you buy something at STREAT, you’re directly funding this training and support.

I have so many coffee options around here, but I come to STREAT not only because the coffee is amazing, but because this is a place where kindness happens. There aren’t many places you can go in a city that are kind, but I come here every morning because it always helps me start my day the right way.
