Our flagship location in the heart of Collingwood is the home of our socially and environmentally-conscious Cromwell St Cafe, bakery and takeaway. The menu offers global eats, a wide range of drinks, and ethically sourced coffee which we roast on-site. Our multi-cultural menu curated by our Executive Chef, Dianne Kerry, with Gluten Free, Vegan and Vegetarian options.

The cafe has an incredibly flexible indoor and outdoor space with an industrial feel, a lush mainly edible garden, it’s dog-friendly and wheelchair accessible (except from the deck), with a gender-neutral toilet. Cromwell Cafe is a great space for large groups of up to 17 people on a set menu. We’re close to public transport, Collingwood Station, Smith St trams and the Hoddle St bus route.

We believe all young people should get the opportunity to thrive, no matter their starting point. And having a supportive workplace to get skills, training and support is critical to that. All of our cafes, kitchens and gardens are training sites for young people who really need a hand. And behind the scenes we’ve got an amazing youth team (clinical & forensic psychologist, social workers, youth workers, employment specialists and a therapy dog) who ensure that all of our young people get the individual support they need. When you dine with us at any STREAT cafe, you’re directly funding this training and support.
