STREATwise E-learns

STREATwise’s e-learns, workshops and webinars have been created by Dr. Kate Barrelle, STREAT’s Chief Impact Officer with over 30 years of experience as a forensic and clinical psychologist. A Certification of Completion is provided once each training has been successfully completed, signed off by our therapy dog, Magic (and Dr Kate Barrelle). We’ve trained over 400 practitioners and have received an overall score of 88% satisfaction to date. Our practitioners said their confidence levels rose from 52% to 84% across all topics.
On average, it takes individuals one hour to complete our e-learns, with additional resources provided for further learning. Access to each course is available for three months from the purchase date. Courses are purchased per person, or are available in bundles with the option to pick and choose courses.  If you’re interested in purchasing e-learns in bulk, get in touch.

Gender & Sexual Diversity

This e-learn takes us through sex, gender and sexuality, and examines why it’s so important to ask for people’s pronouns. Gender & Sexual Diversity will provide a deeper understanding to these important issues while digging into legislation, culture, some shocking statistics and how to be an ally and make a difference.

Resilience & Self-Care

Humans are incredibly resilient but that at the same time, everyone has a breaking point and many of us live with touchpoints of trauma or distress – whether this is direct and personal or indirect and professional. This e-learn provides an opportunity to breathe, connect with core values, identify resilience and learn strategies to maintain personal sustainability.

Trauma-Informed Practice

This workshop will explain the impact of trauma at a social, behavioural, neurological and psychological level. You’ll learn why people ‘flip their lids’ and how to reduce triggers. After completing this e-learn, you will have a better understanding of how to build psychological safety in your own work and personal environment.

A step-by-step guide to conducting a waste audit. A waste audit will help you keep track of what’s in your waste – you might be surprised about what you find!
