We each hope to have 4,000 weeks in our life. Ben Rennie and Adam Webb have decided to give one week to STREAT.
From the 21-27 March 2010 they biked the Terra Australis Mountain Bike Epic from Falls Creek across Australia’s High Country to Wangaratta. That’s 15,000 metres of ascent, 550 kilometres of gruelling terrain, two determined guys, and one goal: To raise $10,000 to assist STREAT to skill and employ homeless youth.
They'll be doing the ride next year as well. Join their team or follow their progress on their website, or on their blog. To donate to their ride, go here.
Ben Rennie is also a big supporter of STREAT through IF, or the Innovation Forum. All profits from the talks go to STREAT. Be sure to have a look at the IF schedule and take part in meaningful conversations around change.
