STREAT is serving 7 days a week from our location in Melbourne Central.   We just ran a survey of our customers, and get this: most people say that they drink our coffee because it tastes good. Seems logical, but this is cause for celebration for a social enterprise. We want to be known for the quality of our product, not the pity story that might convince people to purchase with us once.  So without further ado, let’s talk about our coffee.

STREAT coffee

STREAT’s cuppa is a smooth, rich Ethiopian single origin coffee that is Fair Trade and organic. Our coffee only has arabica beans in it, because it’s not possible to get Fair Trade and organic robusta beans in Australia. Robusta beans are what give coffee that caffeine buzz. What STREAT coffee lacks in kick, makes up in flavour. Our single origin cup is chocolate-y with a smooth taste that really comes through.

Mon-Thurs: 8am - 5:30pm

Friday: 8am – 8.30pm

Sat, Sun: 10 – 4.30pm

Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Chai Lattes, a range of Hampstead Teas, muffins and pastries.

In the mornings we have a Coffee Combo deal.Get a small coffee and pastry for $6, or a large coffee and pastry for $6.60.

 Location

The STREAT cart is near the escalators leading to the trains in Melbourne Central. We’re underneath the clock tower, on the ground floor.

Text in your order

You can text your order to the cart. Tell us what coffees you want, which includes whether it’s small or large, if you want any sugar, and your name. We’ll confirm a pickup time with you, and you can come by.
