Tristan Williams

Tristan’s is supervisor barista at the Melbourne Central coffee cart. He helps STREAT trainees learn how to make great coffees and interact positively with the coffee cart customers.

Why do you live in Melbourne?  

I live Melbourne because it's a home away from home.  I'm originally from Tasmania. I moved to Melbourne 10 years ago and I haven't looked back. I just love the lifestyle, the nightlife, the food. There's always something to do here.

What country do you want to visit next?

I’ve just got back from an amazing two-week holiday in Thailand. So my next stop would be London. The reason is to visit my brother and do more traveling. The history over there is awesome, also Paris and Ireland are so close I could head over just for the weekend.

What's the most memorable dish you've ever eaten?

When my brother, my sister and I where young we would have dinner and on the occasion our mum would serve up what we thought were chicken nuggets, but later down the track we found out that there were sheep brains. Eww!
